Fosi has launched the MD3 MagDAC, an ultra-compact, magnetic headphone amplifier and DAC, at CanJam Singapore 2026. This device, weighing only 20g, attaches magnetically to MagSafe-compatible smartphones and provides an instant upgrade to Hi-Fi sound quality for wired headphones. It features an ESS ES9039Q2M DAC chipset, dual USB-C ports for simultaneous charging and audio playback, and outputs for both 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced connectors. The MD3 MagDAC also boasts a 1.28-inch customizable LCD screen with physical controls, including a 100-step digital volume control, and is priced at $149.99, available from May 25, 2026.
