At a ceremonial event at the "P.R. Slavekov" community center in Avren, singer Darina Yotova, known as Dara, received the honorary badge and certificate of "Honorary Citizen of Avren Municipality." The distinction was presented by Mayor Emanuel Manolov before a large gathering of residents and children. In addition to the honorary title, the performer received a donation in the form of real estate in the village of Bliznatsi, designated by the municipal council. In her speech, Dara expressed gratitude for the recognition, shared memories of her childhood in the region, and urged local residents to value and protect the municipality's unique nature. Mayor Manolov emphasized that the municipality supports young talents who bring glory to Bulgaria and expressed hope that the new property will serve as a home for the singer. This is the second municipality in which Dara has been declared an honorary citizen.
