The Consumer Agency (Neytendastofa) has issued a ruling fining four companies that provide payment collection for parking. An audit was conducted on the information disclosure and business practices of the companies Sannra landvætta, Kvasis lausna, Green parking, and Isavia domestic airports. These companies operate parking lots across the country, including in rural areas, in Hamraborg, by the National University Hospital (Landspítali), and at airports in Akureyri and Egilsstaðir.
