The explosive device, described as the most powerful of its kind found in France, could have caused significant damage. The suspects are formally investigated for manufacturing, transporting, and handling an explosive device as part of a terrorist organization, though they deny terrorist intent. The adult allegedly recruited the minors via social media, paying them between 500 and 1,000 euros to plant and film the device.
