Fr Rob Galea, a Maltese-born Catholic priest and award-winning musician now based in Australia, is returning to his homeland for a free concert in Qala, Gozo, on 26th July. The performance marks the 30th anniversary of Radju Leħen il-Qala, the first community radio station in Gozo to receive a permanent broadcasting licence from the Broadcasting Authority. The evening will begin at 8pm with a set by Gozitan singer Jolene Samhan and her band, followed by Fr Rob’s headline appearance in the main square. Entry is free and open to all, with organisers particularly encouraging young people and families to attend.
