A 64-year-old woman was fatally stabbed on a cemetery in Vienna-Penzing, Austria, on Monday afternoon, February 23rd, around 5:30 PM. An emergency doctor confirmed her death after a passerby discovered her with stab wounds. Austrian police arrested a 14-year-old Austrian girl on Monday evening, who subsequently confessed to the crime by Tuesday morning, February 24th. A pocket knife, believed to be the murder weapon, was secured from the suspect, along with her clothing. Authorities stated there was no prior contact between the victim and the suspect. The motive remains unclear, with investigations ongoing into the suspect's psychological state, potential alcohol or drug use, and the contents of her mobile phone, which is being checked for possible video recordings of the act.
