For nearly four years, the German economy has been in a multifaceted crisis, shaped by the consequences of the corona pandemic, the war in Ukraine, the rise of China, and the influence of Artificial Intelligence. Sentiment is poor, unemployment is rising, and industry is collapsing. In this situation, the leadership of the Union and the SPD have presented a "Program for Recovery and Employment," which, however, fails to deliver on its promise.
