The General Command of Fujairah Police highlighted on X that a car's internal temperature can quickly reach dangerous, even fatal, levels for children. This alert coincides with the UAE's entry into the pre-summer period, with the Emirates Astronomical Society noting that the climatic summer, beginning June 1 and lasting through August, is expected to see daily highs between 41°C and 43°C, with potential heatwaves pushing temperatures even higher. Children's heightened vulnerability to heatstroke in such enclosed environments is a primary concern for authorities.
