The Venezuelan Foundation for Seismological Investigations (Funvisis) has recorded a total of 890 aftershocks in Venezuela over the last nine days, following the seismic doublet that occurred on June 24, which primarily impacted the state of La Guaira. Although a decrease in the magnitude and frequency of these aftershocks had been reported on June 30, the President of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, warned that the risk has not completely disappeared, even though it has diminished.
