Gasunie has corrected a reporting error on its National Energy Dashboard, where gas reserves were mistakenly shown as 1.1 percent full. A spokesperson confirmed this was a typo, and the actual fill level is 11 percent. This correction comes after a period of increased gas demand from power plants and cold weather, which depleted reserves to just over 12 percent over the weekend. Despite historically low levels compared to previous years (37% last year, 60% the year before), Gasunie assures sufficient supply, particularly from LNG imports, and anticipates reduced demand due to warmer weather. Current European gas prices are around 31 euros per megawatt-hour, having recently fallen after a spike related to geopolitical tensions.
