General Staff: Russia has lost 1,451,750 troops in Ukraine since Feb. 24, 2022 04.08.2026

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on August 4 that Russia has lost around 1,451,750 troops since the beginning of its full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022. This figure includes 1,240 casualties suffered by Russian forces over the past day. In addition to personnel losses, Russia has lost 12,237 tanks, 25,079 armored combat vehicles, 129,817 vehicles and fuel tanks, 47,331 artillery systems, 2,000 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,538 air defense systems, 439 aircraft, 354 helicopters, 442,740 unmanned aerial vehicles, 2,124 unmanned ground systems, 34 ships and boats, and two submarines.
