Generation Deutschland: AfD will Kevin Dorow offenbar aus der Partei ausschließen 24.02.2026

The AfD's federal executive board is planning to expel Kevin Dorow, a member of the newly formed youth organization Generation Deutschland (GD), due to controversial remarks made during a founding event in Gießen. Dorow's statement, "Youth must be led by youth," referencing Thuringian AfD leader Björn Höcke, prompted a preliminary investigation by the public prosecutor's office for potential violations of Section 86a of the German Criminal Code, which concerns the use of symbols of unconstitutional organizations. GD leader Jean-Pascal Hohm has criticized the expulsion decision, while Dorow defends his statement, asserting it originates from the Wandervogel movement of the Weimar era, predating the Hitler Youth, and is not NS-related. The case has now been transferred to the AfD's state arbitration court in Schleswig-Holstein for a final decision.
