A report released Wednesday by the Coalition Against Islamophobia and Anti-Muslim Hostility (CLAIM) recorded 4,096 anti-Muslim incidents across Germany in 2025, a significant rise from 3,080 in 2024. The "Civil Society Assessment of Anti-Muslim Racism" analyzed data from 38 counseling centers, crime statistics, and media reports. More than 60% of incidents were verbal attacks (2,379 cases), with 840 cases of discrimination and 680 other harmful acts including physical assaults and property damage. The report documented two homicides, 214 cases of bodily injury, four cases of attempted murder, five cases of arson, and 61 attacks on mosques.
