Gisèle Pelicot, the victim in the Mazan rape case, will be in Montpellier on May 20th at 6 PM for a special evening at the Comédie du livre festival. Her memoir, "Et la joie de vivre," published on February 17th by Flammarion, has become a significant literary success, with 150,000 copies printed in France and translations in 22 countries. Pelicot's book details the hundreds of rapes she endured between 2010 and 2020, orchestrated by her husband, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison, alongside 50 other defendants receiving sentences between three and fifteen years.
