Gjini: The Achievement Test should be abolished; it stresses students and yields no real results 07.07.2026

The Chairman of the Alliance, Ardian Gjini, has called for the removal of the Achievement Test, stating that it has failed to fulfill its intended purpose and does not provide a realistic reflection of the quality of education in the country. Through Facebook, Gjini stated that while the test is conceived as an instrument to measure the performance of the educational system, its implementation increases pressure on students and parents, creating injustice between those who follow the rules and those who cheat. He emphasized that the test stresses children and parents, favors those who cheat, and produces false statistics rather than real results. Gjini cited this year's results, where the achievement rate dropped to 48.35 percent, proving that the mechanism is not fulfilling its function. He demanded that the test be abolished as soon as possible and not be repeated, as it produces no positive results.
