Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyễn Sinh Nhật Tân announced that the Vietnamese government is committed to stringent oversight to ensure the quality of E10 biofuel, which has been available in the market alongside E5 biofuel since June 1. The Ministry of Science and Technology has established specific standards and technical regulations for biofuels, and all products must adhere to these. Tân emphasized that inspections and monitoring will occur across the entire supply chain, from production to retail, with both routine and unannounced checks. He highlighted that consumer interests are the primary focus, referencing existing legislation that defines stakeholder responsibilities and the continuous monitoring implemented since E5's introduction in 2018. The ministry is also providing consumer guidance through handbooks and FAQs, supplemented by a chatbot for feedback and inquiries.
