A tragic accident on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway in Gazipur resulted in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to two others. The incident occurred around 1:00 PM near the Bhogra Bypass flyover when a Binimoy Paribahan bus rear-ended an autorickshaw, forcing it into a stationary Anabil Paribahan bus ahead. The autorickshaw was crushed between the two buses. The autorickshaw driver and a passenger sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. Emergency services recovered the bodies, and the injured were transported to a local hospital. Police have impounded the Binimoy Paribahan bus, though its driver escaped. Investigations are ongoing to identify the victims and pursue legal action.
