The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has appointed former national pacer Talha Jubair as the new pace bowling coach, succeeding Shaun Tait who resigned due to family reasons. BCB cricket operations chairman Shahreer Nafees confirmed Talha's appointment on Thursday. Tait, who had a productive tenure overseeing the development of several fast bowlers, including Nahid Rana, cited personal circumstances as the reason for his departure. The BCB stated the decision was amicable and mutually understood, with Tait expressing pride in the bowlers' achievements and wishing the team future success. Bangladesh will commence preparations for the upcoming series against Australia, which includes three ODIs and three T20Is, with a training camp starting on June 6.
