Guerre en Ukraine : Kiev bombardée par des missiles avant le quatrième anniversaire de l’invasion russeà 08h11 22.02.2026

Kiev and its surrounding region were struck by a massive missile and drone attack on Sunday morning, just two days before the fourth anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Five localities in the Kiev region were affected, with debris causing injuries to a woman and a child in the capital. Similar bombardments were reported in Dnipro and Odessa, resulting in two injuries and drone strikes on infrastructure, respectively. The attacks occurred as temperatures dropped to around -10°C in Kiev. Meanwhile, in Lviv, explosions in city center shops killed a police officer and injured 15 people overnight. President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine is not losing the war and claimed recent counter-offensives in the south have recaptured 300 square kilometers, potentially exploiting a Russian blockage of Starlink usage. Diplomatic efforts continue, with European leaders set to co-chair a virtual meeting in support of Ukraine.
