In Waltershof, Hamburg, a 22-year-old employee of the port railway was injured around 5 PM when a railcar, pushed by a locomotive at a slow speed, collided with a car at an unmanned crossing. The employee was caught between the railcar and the vehicle, sustaining a fracture, and was subsequently transported to a hospital. The exact cause of the accident remains undetermined. This incident follows a previous fatal accident in January involving a port railway locomotive and a bus, which resulted in one fatality and several injuries.
