Halsema sluit woning met wietplantage in Zuidoost, bijna 100 wietplanten gevonden 19.03.2026

Amsterdam Mayor Halsema has ordered the closure of a residence at Grubbehoeve in Zuidoost for three months, until June 17, following the discovery of a cannabis plantation containing 94 plants. The police found the illegal operation, which also involved energy tapping, on February 11. Mayor Halsema believes the property was used for drug trafficking and deemed the plantation unsafe for residents due to risks of nuisance, fire, rip deals, burglary, and attracting criminal activity. This incident is part of a larger crackdown, with four other cannabis farms found in Zuidoost in February, totaling 1299 plants across five properties.
