PPP Foreign Media Spokesperson Joo Hyun-chul criticized Han's visit, calling it an "uninvited guest," a "calculated political act," and "media play," asserting that visiting the funeral hall without prior coordination with the bereaved family crossed a political line. Additionally, Media Spokesperson Park Min-young joined the criticism, remarking that Han's brief 15-minute stay showed that "he hasn't changed," referring to his character. Han visited the funeral hall on the night of the 2nd, and it has also been reported that Representative Lee Jae-myung sent a condolence wreath.
