Federal Territories Minister Hannah Yeoh has assured residents of Setiawangsa that services and assistance from the federal territories department will continue without interruption following the vacation of the parliamentary seat by Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad. Yeoh expressed gratitude for Nik Nazmi's service and stated that she has directed Kuala Lumpur Mayor Fadlun Mak Ujud to bolster the capabilities of the City Hall (DBKL) branch in Setiawangsa, including the allocation of additional personnel. This measure aims to ensure the swift processing of ground-level actions and that residents can continue to utilize the Setiawangsa DBKL branch for complaints and assistance. The announcement comes after Nik Nazmi and Rafizi Ramli's decision to resign from PKR and vacate their parliamentary seats to lead Parti Bersama Malaysia.
