According to her, indicator monitoring is conducted at the level of each national directorate, with information completeness serving as the primary criterion. "The other key indicator is promptness," she stated, highlighting significant disparities between districts within the same region. Dr. Michel Yao, the WHO Resident Representative in Senegal, supported this approach, affirming that data enables performance monitoring and the implementation of corrective measures. For the international expert, this information is essential for planning quality services and ensuring transparency, contributing to global reports and allowing Senegal to compare its results against international standards.
