The three female elephants—Dara, Amoi, and Kelat (DAK)—housed at Tennoji Zoo in Japan are showing remarkable progress, according to the latest report from the Taiping Municipal Council (MPT). Council president Mohamed Akmal Dahalan announced that Kelat has gained 260 kilogrammes, while Dara and Amoi have added 35 kg and 30 kg respectively, compared to their previous weights. The elephants remain healthy and active, with their diet carefully managed to meet species-specific nutritional requirements.
