On Friday, the Croatian Parliament rejected by a majority vote (83 against, 40 in favor) an initiative by Možemo! to establish an Investigative Commission to determine the facts regarding the business dealings between the private polyclinic Medikol and the Croatian Health Insurance Fund (HZZO). The proposal sought to investigate who made the decisions regarding the contracting of PET/CT services, why hospitals did not receive these devices, and the exact amount paid to Medikol since 2007.
