Student Jan Wahlberg returned 7,371 bottles and cans at the K-market in Hetta, Enontekiö, on Monday, totaling €1,119.45. This enormous amount, collected by Wahlberg over more than three years, took nearly six hours to process at the bottle return machine and required considerable effort from him and a few friends. Wahlberg will donate the collected funds to humanitarian aid for Ukraine and research into ALS, continuing his previous charitable work. During his collection, he also noticed a large number of foreign bottles and cans, from which he expects to generate additional income for his student budget. Wahlberg's love for his hometown motivated him to return the bottles specifically in Enontekiö.
