Hospice Malta Calls On Public To Back 12-Hour Fundraising Telethon 09.04.2026

Hospice Malta is hosting its annual 12-hour fundraising telethon on Saturday, April 25th, from 11 am to 11 pm, to support its free palliative care services across Malta and Gozo. The organization has seen a significant increase in demand, assisting nearly 1,000 new patients last year and providing 33,000 professional home sessions in 2025. Funds raised will aid in expanding community care, day therapy programs, and the newly opened St Michael Hospice headquarters, which includes a 16-room In-Patient Unit. Chairperson Bernadette Bonnici Kind emphasized the telethon's importance in ensuring continued free support for all who need it, while CEO Kenneth Delia highlighted the organization's commitment to professional, compassionate, and human-centered care.
