Nick Pasqual, an actor known for his role in "How I Met Your Mother," has been sentenced to 32 years to life in prison for the attempted murder of his estranged girlfriend, Los Angeles-based makeup artist Allie Shehorn. The brutal attack occurred in May 2024 when Pasqual broke into Shehorn's home, repeatedly stabbing her. He was found guilty of attempted murder, injuring a spouse or partner, first-degree burglary, and rape following a jury trial. Shehorn, who had recently filed a restraining order against Pasqual, sustained visible injuries, and friends believe she was stabbed over 20 times. Pasqual was apprehended at a Texas border checkpoint and extradited to Los Angeles.
