Actor Nick Pasqual, known for his role in "How I Met Your Mother," was sentenced on Tuesday to over three decades in prison for the 2024 stabbing of his ex-girlfriend, Allie Shehorn. A Los Angeles court found Pasqual guilty of attempted murder, forcible rape, first-degree residential burglary, and multiple counts of injuring a spouse or girlfriend. Pasqual broke into Shehorn's Sunland home and stabbed her an estimated 20 times, causing severe injuries to her throat, back, chest, and wrists. Shehorn required 14 hours of surgery and multiple days in intensive care. Pasqual, who had a restraining order filed against him days before the attack, was arrested at the U.S./Mexico border in Texas after fleeing California.
