Since 2015, the Groupe hospitalier Rance Émeraude (GHRE) has been providing specialized medico-social support for victims of domestic violence through its Violences intrafamiliales (Vif) initiative. This program, overseen by Dr. Jean-François Bouet, operates across Dinan, Saint-Malo, and Dol-de-Bretagne, with eight healthcare professionals dedicated to assisting patients in Dinan. Free and confidential consultations are offered monthly at GHRE sites, and individuals presenting at emergency rooms can receive immediate care or be scheduled for appointments with the Vif professionals. This long-standing initiative aims to offer crucial support to those affected by domestic abuse.
