HSC exam in all districts under Chattogram board postponed due to floods 08.07.2026

The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has officially announced the postponement of several examinations due to the ongoing flood situation. According to a notice signed by Committee Chairman Prof Syed Akhtaruzzaman on Tuesday, all HSC and equivalent examinations scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, across all districts under the Chattogram board have been deferred. This decision specifically impacts the HSC, Alim, HSC (BMT), HSC (Vocational), and Diploma in Commerce examinations within these three districts. While these specific exams are postponed, examinations under other education boards will proceed according to their original schedules. The committee has stated that a revised schedule for the postponed examinations will be announced at a later date. This measure aims to ensure student safety and accommodate the logistical challenges caused by the current flooding in the Chattogram region.
