In the city of Huancayo, resurfacing works have begun on Ferrocarril Avenue, a crucial project spanning more than two kilometers between San Carlos and Huancavelica avenues. With an investment exceeding S/ 5.5 million funded by the Regional Government of Junín, this project aims to rehabilitate one of the main access routes to local supply centers. The estimated execution period is approximately four months, although the Provincial Municipality of Huancayo hopes to finish ahead of schedule. To mitigate the negative impact on traffic and commerce, the municipal manager, Jhoselim Meza, requested that the Consorcio Vial Huancayo 02 implement night work schedules. This intervention is part of a comprehensive plan of works totaling S/ 22 million, which also includes Olaya, Carrión, and Huancavelica avenues.
