A 36-year-old Indian-origin biotech engineer, Manesh Kumar Patel, has admitted to exposing himself to a flight attendant on an Emirates flight from Dubai to Manchester, UK, on March 15, 2024. Patel, who resides in Manchester, pleaded guilty to a charge of outraging public decency at Manchester Magistrates' Court. The court heard that Patel, who had consumed alcohol prior to the incident, exposed himself to the flight attendant after being asked to return to his seat. He has been released on conditional bail and will be sentenced on July 15, 2024, with the judge warning him that all sentencing options, including jail time, are being considered.
