The Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) has announced its full backing for the ICANN87 Annual General Meeting, scheduled to take place in Bali from October 17–22, 2026. This support was formalized during a meeting between Deputy Minister Nezar Patria, the Indonesian Internet Domain Name Registry (PANDI), and ICANN representatives at the Komdigi office in Jakarta. The meeting focused on logistical and technical preparations, including customs and immigration procedures, to ensure the global internet governance forum runs smoothly.
