The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) is initiating a Reverse Linkage project to bolster the Azerbaijan Accreditation Center (AzAK), aiming for its full membership in the International Organization for Accreditation. This initiative involves Kazakhstan as the provider country, sharing its expertise with Azerbaijan. The IsDB previously approved a US$260,000 grant in 2023 for Azerbaijan, with Pakistan providing expertise in cotton line development to enhance resistance to wilting diseases and improve yields. Additionally, in 2025, the IsDB provided a US$258,000 grant to Tajikistan, with Azerbaijan serving as the expertise provider for developing a digital platform to improve public service delivery, modeled after Azerbaijan's ASAN Service.
