FIFA has announced a formal investigation into videos showing Argentina fans racially abusing popular streamer IShowSpeed during the FIFA World Cup. The incidents occurred during two matches: the Round of 16 game between Egypt and Argentina, and the Round of 32 game between Cape Verde and Argentina. In the videos, fans were filmed making monkey gestures directed at IShowSpeed, who was supporting Egypt. Additionally, fans were recorded calling him the N-word and using other racial slurs and curses during the Cape Verde match.
