Israel's Security Cabinet approved a plan on Thursday to establish 13 new settlements in the Binyamin regional area of the occupied West Bank, according to Israel's Channel 7. The plan focuses on two main corridors: areas northwest of Jerusalem and west of Ramallah along Route 60, and territory extending eastward toward the Jordan Valley. The first phase, backed by investments worth millions of shekels, will include the establishment of four to six new settlements, with several existing pastoral outposts also slated for formal legalization to receive government funding and infrastructure.
