Israeli attacks wound eight in Lebanon despite Rome talks 06.08.2026

Israeli air strikes and shelling in the southern Lebanese district of Tyre wounded eight people on Thursday, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry. The attacks targeted the town of Burj Shemali and areas between al-Mansouri and Majdal Zoun, with one strike destroying a civilian home. This escalation occurred on the third and final day of the seventh round of US-brokered ceasefire negotiations between Lebanon and Israel in Rome.
