Israeli strikes kill 11 people in Gaza City, medics say 04.06.2026

At least 11 Palestinians, including women and children, were killed and dozens injured in Israeli air strikes targeting four residential buildings in Gaza City on Thursday morning. The strikes, conducted by at least three Israeli helicopters in the Sheikh Radwan, Tel al-Hawa areas, and the Shati refugee camp, reportedly killed four senior Hamas General Security Apparatus members, including deputy head Hassan Labad, along with his wife and three children. These attacks occurred despite a US-brokered ceasefire, with Israel accusing Hamas of rearming. Since the ceasefire began in October, over 940 people have been killed in Gaza, according to the Hamas-run health ministry, amid a deteriorating humanitarian crisis and reports of Israeli plans to expand control over land. The ongoing conflict, triggered by the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack, has resulted in significant casualties on both sides.
