In a report titled "Ensuring effective accessibility," the International Transport Forum (ITF) has showcased Azerbaijan’s institutional reforms as a best practice for developing accessible transport systems. The report, which focuses on improving mobility for people with disabilities, emphasizes the need for coordinated management structures. Azerbaijan’s Transport Coordination Council, established in 2023, is cited as a key example, ensuring unified transport policy and coordinated decision-making across all modes of transport.
