Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has announced temporary road closures around Jalan U Thant, effective Monday until January 31, 2027. These closures are necessary for underground pipe-jacking installation works. Specifically, the exit from Jalan U Thant to Jalan Tun Razak near Regal House and the entrance from Jalan Tun Razak to Jalan Langgak Golf near the Iraqi Embassy will be affected. Additionally, Jalan Langgak Golf will be converted to a one-way street for vehicles exiting towards Jalan Tun Razak for the duration of the project. DBKL has provided alternative routes for motorists, directing them to use Jalan U Thant as an entrance for areas like Jalan Taman U Thant and Jalan Madge, and Jalan Langgak Golf as an exit for those heading towards Jalan Tun Razak.
