Jersey has recorded its warmest June since records began in 1894, according to Jersey Met. The island experienced a historic heatwave from June 21 to 25, culminating in the hottest day ever recorded on June 25, when temperatures soared to 39.3°C (102.7°F). This surpassed the previous record of 37.9°C (100.2°F) set on July 18, 2022. The heatwave featured four consecutive days with temperatures of 30°C (86°F) or more, and three tropical nights where the temperature did not drop below 20°C (68°F).
