This achievement marks his ninth Olympic medal overall, solidifying his place in Olympic history. The state awards €80,000 for each gold medal, €40,000 for silver, and €20,000 for bronze, mirroring the prize money structure for the Paris 2024 Games. Fillon Maillet's victories in the mixed relay, sprint, and men's relay, along with his third-place finish in the mass start, will total €260,000. Other French teammates also stand to benefit, with Eric Perrot earning €200,000, Émilien Jacquelin €100,000, and Fabien Claude €80,000.
