Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu announced on Thursday that a public consultation for the final policy address of his current term will begin on Monday, June 29. The consultation will also seek views on the city’s first five-year plan, a comprehensive development blueprint. Lee made the announcement after meeting with tertiary education leaders to discuss the plan, stating, “The consultation will collect opinions on both the five-year plan and the policy address, with the government to organise and incorporate them accordingly.”
