A fire broke out Tuesday afternoon in a straw field located in Soyhières, in the canton of Jura. The alert was issued around 2:50 p.m., triggering a rapid emergency response to contain the flames. Firefighters from the SIS Haut-Plateau and the Delémont Fire and Rescue Reinforcement Center were mobilized at the scene. They received valuable assistance from local farmers to bring the blaze under control. According to preliminary information from the Jura cantonal police, the origin of the fire is likely linked to a technical problem.
