Federal Judge Marcelo Martínez de Giorgi, who is leading the investigation into the alleged fraud involving the Libra cryptocurrency, has removed five complainants from the case. The measure responds to a request from the defense of Mauricio Novelli, one of the investigated parties, and may be appealed before the Federal Chamber. The magistrate considered that the investors failed to prove "direct harm" or demonstrate ownership of the tokens or the origin of the funds used to acquire them.
