The President of Republika Srpska, Miloš Karan, told SRNA that the Constitutional Court of BiH, by confirming the constitutionality of High Representative Christian Schmidt's interventions in the Criminal Code, has destroyed the foundations of a democratic and legally regulated society. He emphasized that there is no rule of law where a foreigner without democratic legitimacy and constitutional authority imposes laws. Karan characterized this decision as confirmation that BiH is not a sovereign state, but a protected territory.
