During his tour of Uruguay and Paraguay, President José Antonio Kast referred to the tensions within the government that emerged following the Senate's rejection of the constitutional accusation against former Finance Minister Nicolás Grau. During a press briefing in Uruguay, Kast called for internal differences to be set aside to focus on the country's primary needs. "I call for the focus to be placed on the urgencies we face. Today, the urgencies are mainly in matters of security and employment," the President stated.
