„Kein Mythos“: Wetter-Umschwung hat bittere Auswirkungen auf viele Menschen 24.02.2026

Weather sensitivity is a scientifically proven phenomenon, not a myth, according to Katrin Graw, a medical-meteorological research expert at the German Weather Service (DWD). As temperatures rise after a cold period, many individuals experience symptoms such as dizziness, headaches, circulatory problems, joint pain, sleep disturbances, and fatigue. These occur because the body struggles to adapt to rapid changes in temperature, air pressure, wind, sun, and humidity. Studies indicate that approximately half of Germans feel the weather's impact on their health, with older people, those with pre-existing conditions, and women being particularly affected. The DWD provides hazard maps and advises regular outdoor activity to train the body's adaptability.
